(The AEGIS Alliance) – An age 25 male suspect from Akron, Ohio is facing indictment by a grand jury following his purportedly raping kids he babysat.
Timothy Luna had been employed to work as a babysitter after he posted his details to the internet site www.care.com, a website where households look for laborers to give child care, elder care, or tutoring, and even more, the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office noted.
Luna is implicated in the rape of a number of kids in the Summit and Cuyahoga counties going back to 2018, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. Starting from December 2021 to June 2022, he purportedly raped a kid who was only 6 years of age. It’s alleged that Luna additionally raped an age 9 kid from October 1 to October 15 in 2018.
The Prosecutor’s Office revealed on Friday, September 30 that Luna is facing charges that include 6 counts of rape, 3 counts of gross sex-related imposition, and importuning. The importuning charge originates from an occurrence where Luna purportedly solicited an age 13 teen on the internet.
Luna continues to be kept at the Summit County Jail on a $500,000 bail amount, jail records indicate.
The Prosecutor’s Office is asking any individual that employed Luna as a sitter to please come forward.
