Virginia realtor killed in murder-suicide by man who was unhappy with new home

(The AEGIS Alliance) – An age 84 male suspect shot his realty broker to death in a murder-suicide due to the man being distressed over the Virginia house he’d just purchased without taking a look at it first, according to police.

Albert Baglione fired fatal gunshots at age 41 real estate agent Soren Arn-Oelschlegel last Friday evening at a house in Portsmouth, Virginia, the octogenarian had very recently purchased, at that point contacted 911 and confessed, “I shot my realtor,” according to WAVY 10.

When the cops showed up, they spoke with Baglione who had been wielding a firearm.

Minutes afterward, police officers heard gunfire and found both of the men’s bodies.

Arn-Oelschlegel, which marketed properties for Long & & Foster, apparently hadn’t ever met Baglione in person and visited the property on Bolling Road to assist him considering that he was actually dissatisfied with his acquisition.

Baglione had just moved into the home one day prior, a nearby neighbor mentioned.

“He bought the house sight unseen from Alabama, moved in here Thursday, and called a real estate agent Friday to return the house,” the nearby neighbor informed WTKR.

The incident is currently under investigation by authorities, the strange slaying at the residence is being treated as a murder-suicide.

Soren Arn-Oelschlege’s fellow members of the non-profit LGBTQ group Hampton Roads Pride remember him. He was a volunteer for the group for greater than ten years.

“The LGBTQ community of Hampton Roads has lost a vibrant person who’s hard to replace,” president Rudy Almanzor said.

“He always had tons of energy. I never saw him not smiling, laughing, and wanting to have fun. He worked hard, played hard,” Almanzor mentioned.
