Bank Robber Slips and Spills Cash, Gun, in Front of Cop

(The AEGIS Alliance) – Police in Waterville, Maine, say a man who just got done robbing a bank was running across four lanes of traffic and a restaurant parking lot, then slipped on ice and dropped his gun and the stolen money right in front of a state police special agent.

Joseph Massey, the Waterville Police Chief told the Morning Sentinel that a gust of wind blew the money across the parking lot while the Jason Mackenrodt, the bank robber, was being apprehended that day on Tuesday, February 12.

Glenn Lang, the special agent, was unaware that a bank was just robbed. Although, he was suspicious enough to exit his vehicle and tackle the man down.

According to police, Mr. Mackenrodt was hauled off to jail after being handcuffed. The weapon he was carrying ended up being a BB gun.
