Benjamin Netanyahu rushed to hospital after he passed out and hit his head

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, was urgently taken to a medical facility in Tel Aviv on Saturday after losing consciousness at his residence.

The age 73 right-wing leader, who has been in power for the longest duration ever in Israel, was reported to be in “good health” while he went through a sequence of examinations, as stated by his office.

According to insiders at Sheba Medical Center, the head of government fainted at his residence in Cesarea and suffered a head injury after expressing discomfort in his chest, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Netanyahu was completely aware upon his arrival at the emergency department, as per reports — however, medical professionals will conduct a brain scan and assess his cardiac rhythm to examine for any additional harm.

Avner, who is Bibi’s son, went along with him to the medical facility and it is anticipated that his spouse Sara will join them at that location.

The leader of the opposing party, Yair Lapid, promptly extended his support by posting a tweet in Hebrew, expressing his hopes for complete recuperation and well-being.

“Feel better,” Lapid mentioned.

Netanyahu has held multiple terms as head of government, accumulating a total of 15 years in power.

In December, he regained control, establishing a conservative administration with backing from religious and nationalist political organizations in the Knesset, a mere year and a half after he lost.

However, President Biden has consciously attempted to maintain a certain distance from Netanyahu, a close associate of former President Trump, by abstaining from extending an invitation to the White House. This decision remains unchanged, despite a request from China’s Xi Jinping for Netanyahu to embark on an official trip to Beijing in the previous month.
