Unidentified object shot down over Alaska waters by US military

(The AEGIS Alliance) – The White House reported on Friday that a US fighter aircraft had taken down an unidentified object in Alaska, which was described as being the size of a small automobile and was flying at a high altitude. However, it is yet to be determined what the target was for or where it originated from.

“The president ordered the military to down the object,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby stated in a press conference.

Kirby stated that the origin of the object was uncertain, but that US authorities anticipate retrieving it from within the country’s territorial waters.

“We don’t know who owns this object,” Kirby mentioned.

Kirby mentioned that the object crashed in the northeastern region of Alaska, close to the Canadian border. According to the assessment of the American pilot, there was no indication of human presence on the object.

This incident occurred shortly after a supposed Chinese surveillance balloon traversed the mainland of the US and was eventually struck down over the Atlantic Ocean instead of on land in order to prevent injuries and damage from falling debris.

Kirby was cautious in avoiding the classification of the object as a balloon.

According to Kirby, information regarding the new object and its trajectory first came to the attention of the US on Thursday evening.
