Maryland man attempts to run over cops, rams car into police station

(The AEGIS Alliance) – Police arrested a Maryland man after he attempted to run over some police officers and afterward, he drove his vehicle into the entrance hall of a police department in a frightening scene on Sunday evening, according to police.

24-year-old Timothy Kahl contacted the cops in the Baltimore suburban area of Havre de Grace at about 9:30 p.m. and also claimed he was going to drive to their main office and murder a cop, Cpl. Ken Terry pointed out on Monday morning in a statement.

Detectives discovered where the caller was located and found out he was driving close to his residence, Terry mentioned. When cops showed up to the area, they discovered Kahl driving unpredictably and observed him hit a number of parked automobiles just before he attempted to run the cops over at the scene.

At that point, the suspect drove off from the area to flee from police, then crashed into the Havre de Grace police department, where he hit an additional parked vehicle as well as “intentionally drove his vehicle into the front doors” of the property, Terry stated. But the wreck still didn’t stop the guy’s crazy efforts to harm a police officer.

Police pointed out that Kahl exited his vehicle and attempted to assault numerous cops outside the building. He wound up getting tased and apprehended.

The suspect that didn’t seem armed was transported to a nearby healthcare facility to get treatment for injuries he endured during the collision and is anticipated to deal with “numerous criminal charges,” Terry pointed out. There was no word about what those charges are going to be.

There was significant damage done to the police station, however, no cops were actually wounded during the assaults.
