Florida Man charged in shooting death of girlfriend’s father, told her ‘He won’t be bothering you anymore’

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A Florida Man, age 29, is implicated in the fatal shooting death of his girlfriend’s aged 67 father that happened after a number of domestic arguments.

A public statement by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reveals that on July 23, a Saturday, at roughly 2:25 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the city of Bradenton at 5404 12th Avenue Drive W. following a call concerning a shooting. After deputies arrived on the scene, they apparently discovered a 67-year-old man’s body on the front lawn suffering from evident gunfire injuries. Authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene.

After investigating further into the matter, the victim’s wife and his daughter informed the deputies they had been inside the residence when they heard the sound of multiple gunshots being fired that came from the driveway, the Sheriff’s Office noted. They apparently rushed out to the front yard and discovered the victim on the lawn, and beside him was Charles Shadrach, who is the daughter’s boyfriend. Shadrach was purportedly clutching onto a gun in his hand, then set it down near the front door.

The Sheriff’s Office mentioned that Shadrach said to his girl, “He won’t be bothering you anymore.”

The Sheriff’s Office stated detectives found out that the victim, his daughter, as well as Shadrach, which all reside in the very same house, had been involved in a number of domestic arguments before the fatal shooting.

Charles Shadrach apparently gave himself up to authorities and surrendered to a deputy on the scene, he is facing a second-degree murder charge.
