Cops: Maryland GOP Senate candidate falsely accused bookstore of child sex trafficking
(The AEGIS Alliance) – A man who’s running for a Senate seat in Maryland as a GOP candidate totally fabricated a tale concerning a book store where a young girl had been forced to do sexual activities with customers, the cops said.
Republican Ryan Dark White that is actually running under the name Dr. Jon McGreevey is facing a charge of making a false statement following the man reporting a case of child sex trafficking at an adult bookshop in the Edgewood city area to authorities, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office noted.
A confidential informant contacted authorities on April 13 and stated a girl between ages 10 and 12 was being forced into sexual activities with male clients, officials pointed out on Friday.
An official report hadn’t been produced, however, detectives explored the accusation, consisting of interviews with the young girl as well as the grown-up male that was supposedly operating the criminal activity ring.
Detectives at some point determined age 54, Ryan Dark White, as the caller and questioned him on July 7, after which point they verified that “at no time were any sex acts performed or offered by any of the individuals in the establishment.”
White was apprehended on Friday and is facing a charge of false statements to a law enforcement officer as well as false statements of the commission of a crime and the existence of a condition imminently dangerous to public safety and health.
“It is shameful that a candidate for public office would make up such a story and use it to further his own political agenda” Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler pointed out.
“It is even more appalling that another individual, who is running for a law enforcement position, would embrace such an obviously false narrative in an effort to gain political traction, nothing more… Fearmongering and antagonism caused wasted time and energy by our personnel, whose time would have been better served protecting the citizens of Harford County, instead of investigating lies.”
Sheriff Gahler was unable to name this other individual who’s a candidate, but Ryan Dark White has shown up in online videos for Andy Kuhl, a Republican who’s running unopposed in Tuesday’s primary election for the sheriff of Baltimore County.
“There has been a new system of child trafficking implemented when COVID began,” Kuhl’s campaign site reads beside a video clip with him and White. “It is now across 26+ States! Jon McGreevey and I go undercover to expose these sick and heinous crimes against children. We must bring these criminals to justice.”
In an additional blog post, he claimed that White had actually been poisoned in retaliation for their efforts “to expose Child Trafficking taking place in your backyard.”
