Florida man gets 20 years for cutting off wife’s lover’s penis with scissors

(The AEGIS Alliance) – GILCHRIST COUNTY, FLORIDA A Florida man has been sentenced to twenty years behind bars for cutting off his wife’s lover’s penis with scissors in 2019.

Alex Bonilla pleaded no contest to charges of kidnapping to inflict bodily injury, robbery while armed, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, as well as aggravated assault with a gun, according to WKMG-TV. He made an appearance in court on February 25, we previously reported.

Bonilla was sentenced to twenty years behind bars and 10 years of probation, as well as being required to pay $251,023 in restitution, WCJB reported.

Bonilla was arrested in July of 2019 after he held his wife’s lover at gunpoint, emasculated him, at that point ran across the road with the man’s genitalia to his residence.

According to the arrest record, Bonilla and the victim knew one another for 4 years and they have kids that are about the same age.

In May 2019, Bonilla apparently strolled in on his wife and the victim having intersource in their house. Bonilla then told the guy he will “pay for what you are doing right now.”

The Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office stated the victim phoned 911 around 11 a.m. on July 14, 2019, and also stated Bonilla burglarized the man’s house armed with a gun and said that if the victim attempted to resist, he’d kill him.

Deputies stated Bonilla forced the man into a bedroom, tied him up, at that point “forcefully cut off the victim’s penis with a pair of scissors.”

The arrest record explained that Bonilla “blacked out” after assaulting the victim and also “doesn’t remember anything from that point until he was at work and was arrested.”

The record additionally stated Bonilla cut off about three-quarters of the victim’s penis, which was actually never found.
