(The AEGIS Alliance) – KILLEEN, TEXAS Three soldiers that include two stationed at Fort Hood were busted in a police sting operation after allegedly attempting to pay to have sex with underage girls through social media, the Killeen Police Department in Texas said on Monday.

The three members of the military were included in nine men placed under arrest last weekend in what was an online child prostitution sting carried out in Texas, according to the Killeen PD, KCEN TV initially reported.

“The overall goal … was to locate and arrest subjects who were willing to make overt efforts to pay minors to engage in sexual acts,” the department announced in a statement.

The suspects made contact with authorities who they thought were age 15 and 16-year-old girls and made an agreement to exchange money, alcohol, or drugs in return for sexual acts, Killeen Police said.

The suspects were caught when they showed up at the place they were expecting to meet up with the teenage girls.

In total, the Killeen PD charged the men with seven felony prostitution charges, two misdemeanor prostitution charges, and two firearms were confiscated.

Included in the arrests were 25-year-old Anthony Xavier Antwon and 3-year-old Timmy Jones Jr who are military soldiers stationed at Fort Hood, while 32-year-old Pierre Jean is stationed at a San Antonio military base, a police spokeswoman stated.

The other men have been identified as 21-year-old Brian Harley Flynn of Temple, 25-year-old Brandon Anthony of Killeen, 28-year-old Rakeem Jamal Nelson of Killeen; 39-year-old Shaun Paul Moore of Kempner and 40-year-old Javier Perez of Austin.

The sting that lasted two days was carried out by the Special Victim’s Unit with the Killeen Police Department in coordination with the Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Program.
